New Direction Weight Loss
Most people struggle to lose and keep off weight for reasons beyond physical causes. Stress, travel, holidays, family traditions, and habits play into how and why we eat. In addition to weekly weight and progress checks with our supportive staff, required weekly group or one-on-one education sessions help participants learn how to develop healthy habits and patterns making this diet and lifestyle work for them.
Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD)
This program is generally appropriate for those with 30 or more pounds to lose. With this high protein, low carbohydrate plan, your body will enter a state of nutritional ketosis where it generates energy from fat stores rather than from carbohydrates from food. This allows you to lower your caloric intake without increasing your hunger. This produces more rapid weight loss while protecting lean muscle mass. With this full meal replacement plan, you don’t have to spend time and effort planning your meals. Average weight loss is expected to be 4-7 pounds per week for men and 3-5 pounds per week for women.
Modified Very Low Calorie Diet
